In a recently published report on “China’s New Direction: Challenges and Opportunities for U.S. Policy” published by the Asia Society and UC San Diego, Professor David Shambaugh co-authored a memo on China’s Domestic Politics (memo begins on page 3 of the report) as part of the Task Force on US-China Policy.
