Sigur Center Non-Resident Scholar Fang-yu Chen co-authored a piece in The Diplomat titled, “What Does the 1992 Consensus Mean to Citizens in Taiwan?” According to the authors, the definitions of the Consensus employed by official sides do not reflect the public perception of cross-Strait relations.
